A Ride Against Child Labour and Pedestrians Safety!

B2Zone has always been keen to work for the societal development. Their sole aim is just not to give people the healthy body but healthy mind too. It is very important to eradicate the various social evils from the society, for this purpose it is necessary to take the initiative. B2zone in association with Vigor Riders undertook the bike ride programme for creating fitness awareness.

Not only this, another group also went straight to Leh to propagate the message of “Beti Bachao”.

Now, B2Zone is more than happy in being associated with Delhi Randonneurs. who are the cycle riders, riding for the cause of Anti Child Labour and Safety of pedestrian.

With this mindset, Dr. Chiro Priyo Mitra, a veterinary surgeon by profession, has been fiercely labouring with a mission to create a spark among the people of society to uncover various social evils.

Dr. Chiro Mitra is affirmed on saying, “All these years we have been only taking and exercising our Fundamental Rights, but now it’s time to give back, by performing our Fundamental Duties as diligently as possible.”

For this sheer causation, Dr. Chiro Mitra initiated a riding group named as Delhi Randonneurs in 2011, who undertakes long distance running and cycle rides for various causes and excavating the social evils. Well Done Group !! as it is rightly said that “Legs speak louder than words.”

Talking about the contribution of Delhi Randonneurs through their previous rides, In 2016, the group of 23 cyclists, undertook a journey of 1500 kms from Delhi to Mumbai- to create awareness about human trafficking and child labour.

Through this journey, cyclists distributed pamphlets and orated the pros and cons of child labour and human trafficking among people. Not only this, they also embarked various other rides from Delhi to Kathmandu, Manali to Leh, etc.

Considering Dr. Chiro Priyo Mitra, as an individual personality, a self made man, a fighter with strong will power, has been nominated for Karamveer Chakra, an award given to people for their voluntary work for social justice, for his work in the field of child rights twice, once in 2011 and 2013. He also received Karma Jyoti Award, named after Nirbhaya rape case victim for his work in the field of crime against women.

With the astonishing victory of their G2G, 2016, this time Delhi Randonneurs are all set for G2G 2nd Edition, 2017 for creating an awareness regarding Safety of Pedestrian and Anti Child Labour. Their ride will commence from India Gate, New Delhi to Gateway of India, Mumbai, covering 1440 kms in 5 nights and 6 days, approximately covering 250-300 kms per day.
